The DLC coating combines the high hardness of diamonds with the lubricity of graphite, and is an amorphous coating film composed of carbon and hydrogen. DLC is mainly synthesized using PVD or PACVD processes at temperatures ranging from 100 ℃ to 300 ℃. It has good wear resistance, lubricity, electrical insulation, chemical stability, and optical transparency.
Application direction:
1. Mechanical field: used for cutting tools, molds, bearings, etc., to improve the service life of workpieces;
2. In the automotive field, it is coated on the surfaces of moving pairs such as piston rings, valves, and camshafts to reduce wear;
3. Precision instruments, applied to optical mirrors, precision parts, etc;
4. Biomedical applications, used for artificial joints, implants, etc., to improve biocompatibility;
5. In the field of electronics, it is used as a protective coating for disks, optical thin film filters, etc.
